In the Colonial Era, the
candlescreen's functional use guarded the flame.
Its decorative intent was embellished with the
ladies needlework, and often a sampler of her
skilled accomplishments. We proudly revisit that
Era, and delight in sharing our version of the
candlescreen, ornamented with this fine floral
basket sampler.
This finely crafted
hand-rubbed mahogany candlescreen photographed here
is available to display your needleart with
finesse. This candlescreen also fits my previous
"Colonial Candlescreen Collection", Kits
#13-20.
