Since my designing career
began twenty years ago, several changes in the
needlework industry have afforded my challange of
design efforts new and creative needle"arts" for
the stitchery enthusiast. Scissors fobs have won
the hearts of stitchers worldwide, and I, too, have
a fondness for them, as I am an avid embroidery
scissors collector, and truly believe we need the
finest needlework accessories in our stitchery
basket. Sixteen DMC cotton flosses.............all
uniquely packed into this small, but conspicuous,
design to accompany several more in the series. A
wonderful and attractive companion for your
pink-handled pair of scissors. Everything shown on
the photograph is included here in your kit to
finish your fob in the same manner. The two wooden
beads are optional, and if desired, you may choose
a different bead(s) to personalize your creation.
Please refer to the finshing instructions enclosed
in this kit. Be creative!
A bit of transformation from
my line of Olde Colonial designs, Ive decided
to create a series of miniature scissors fobs,
depicting a primitive, but whimsical constitution
of charm, antiquated with larger-than-life
character. The series continues with various fobs
featuring animals, tropical florals, and miniature
samplers. Continue to look for the sequel of my
scissors fob series. Some of the kits also include
a color-coordinated scissors.
Each scissors fob design to
follow in this series will ensue the same theme,
and will continue the same approximate stitch-count
and linen thread-count. Each will be stitched on a
unique color of Glenshee linen, some hand-dyed.
