It is with great
pride that I introduce to you our newly
created "hare" scissors, an exclusive mold
developed for The Heart's Content, Inc.
& The Linen Emporium. We have searched
the world wide to develop a rapport with a
reliable quality silversmith. Earlier this
year while exhibiting and teaching in
France, I was honored to introduce our
mission to such a fine gentleman in a most
charming village in the countryside
outside of Paris; the end
result............... our supreme quality
hare scissors.
As you are aware, I
have previously offered a similiar
scissors design, though I was unable to
gain commitment from the manufacturer,
resulting in a higher price for a lesser
quality scissors. It was a stamped product
of forged steel. Good things come in small
packages. Truly, this is not an exception.
Our exclusive premium stainless steel
scissors is now offered for a favorable
price. With great esteem, we will
distribute this scissors worldwide as of
February, 2002. The retail price is
$32.50. Be sure to ask for them in your
favorite needlework shops, or directly
through my website.
Our friendly
Frenchmen promise a February 2002
delivery, so please be patient. I met with
the representative earlier this month, and
could hardly wait to return home with this
proto-type to have photographed for the
site. Another fine presentation by my
photographer. It is yours to view, or
shall I say "pre-view", until our orders
are accepted in late January for a
February shipment.
Since I returned to
my studio with this darling rabbit, you
can imagine what is occupying the left
side of my brain. Also in February, be
prepared for these "rabbit scissors fobs"
to multiply. I have several in the works
presently, and will do my best to release
these at approximately the same time the
first shipment of "hare scissors" is
floating across the pond.
Be certain to
enlarge this photograph to experience the
fine detailing in the rabbit's body. The
original hare scissors on the right was
brought back from World War I, my
grandfather's gift to my grandmother. Our
scissors will be easily identified by the
simple inscription "THC". The French seem
to have such a passion for detail, and
truly this fine quality scissors is of
utmost. Andre' charmed in the tale of this
original scissors traveling to America,
nesting in my grandmothers' needlework
basket, and yet another journey to France
to recreate it's image for the
anticipation of the fobulous hare soon to
appear in your stitching baskets.
