WHOLESALE ORDER FORM
3-29-06
To all of the supporting actors and actresses
worldwide, I'd like to use this opportunity to
thank you from the bottom of my "one-over-one"
heart, for the support you have given my design
efforts over the past thirty years. It has truly
been a pleasure to work with each and every one of
you in your endeavors to exhibit my designs for our
avid stitchers. I want you to know that I certainly
appreciate all of the long hours you have dedicated
to our needlework industry, the endless efforts to
assist our stitching customers, and graciously act
as the mediator in threading their needles to my
intricately detailed designs. I am extremely proud
of my length of services as a needleart designer,
and I owe a great deal of acknowledgement to you
for my successful years here at The Heart's
Content, Inc., and The Linen Emporium. To you all,
I am grateful!
My company has never required any minimums for
any order. We will simply send you one leaflet, if
you so wish! Our terms are also quite simple. Your
first order will be pre-paid, and thereafter with
credit references, we will place your shop on a
30-day net account.
The selection of my designs that we feature at
any given time on my website are only a mere
portion of my entire portfolio. I'd be happy to
send you the 125-page colored catalog, featuring my
entire line of designs, and the 40-page Scottish
Glenshee linen swatches, both detailed in this
site. Of course, there is no cost for these items
to shopowners. My catalog provides the wholesales
prices separate from the photographs, to enable you
to showcase this at your counter. An attractive
presentation with professional colored photography
of each item. Your customers will enjoy this,
The Linen Emporium @ The Heart's Content, Inc.
is the sole US Distributor of the premium Scottish
Glenshee Linen. Be sure to request literature of
this finest quality linen on which to create our
heirlooms.
In 1999, The Heart's Content, Inc. instituted an
automatic shipment program to shops worldwide,
titled the "Spontaneous Stitcher Shipments". (SSS)
The details are quite simple. Typically twice
annually, for the Nashville market in Spring, and
the Charlotte market in late Summer, I release my
new designs. This program enables you to receive
two (or more, if you choose!) each of my new
publications as soon as they are released. We have
had great success with our program, and shoppers
express their gratification in knowing if for some
reason, they are unable to attend a given market,
they have the confidence of knowing they will
receive all of my new designs when released. I'd be
delighted to welcome your shop to our growing list
of satisfied shopowners. The SSS is posted the week
prior to these two major wholesale tradeshows;
thus, your new items arrive just as you are headed
out the door to market!
Over the past several years, I have grown to
enjoy many of you with a great taste of sincere
friendship. You've all been my "other" family with
whom I devote a great deal of time to. In fact,
everyone knows that I am still in search of a good
deal on a 26-hour day, because I already work
25-hours daily.
I am truly devoted to my designing efforts, and
continue my creative passion daily. Though our
strained industry has brought hardship to most of
our doors, I assure you that though my staff was
reluctantly released last year, I am desperately
attempting to again wear all of those hats, and
tend daily to the assembly of those various kits.
This meld with my Design Studio affords me great
pleasure, but little life. My life has truly become
my creations.
Of late, I've encountered some health hurdles,
and continue to remain positive in my life and
business issues. My groove is being repaired, and
once fully recovered, be watching your doorsteps
for an array of new and fresh design ideas.
Sometimes I feel it unwise to breath
inspirations or ideas not solidly stitched, as life
has a way of creating pimples in my path of
progress, but I feel completely energized of my
newest creations, and am ready for your questions.
Here is just a bit of temptation for your
pallets.
Splendor XV ~ "Royalty". It's all about
queens, crowns and alphabets!
The Infinite Tulip, a delightful botanical
tulip serried in pages of a charming needlebook
filled with treasures.
Spread Kindness, "the ladies of funk" in
my series continue
Saint Valentinè, a marvelous
Splendor for the special event
Status Thimble, a rare thimble holder
portraying brilliant stitchery from every angle.
The finishing is suburb!
Soie Surfinè, the finest of French
silks create a charming miniature Splendor of great
detail to continue the series
Arabesque`~ Floral silk rug on 40-count
silk gauze
Fruitful XIII Avacado
Holiday Splendor, It's time!
If this is not enough to tempt your future
market pallets, I'm not sure they are temptable.
Daily I continue to address my drawing boards,
needles, fibers, linens, and anxiously fulfill your
customers stitching desires. The endless hours from
the birth of my idea, to a marketable kit are many
months, but I wanted to share a bit of insight with
you for my upcoming ideas of creation.
For those of you who are familiar with my kits,
you can certainly attest to the endless hours of
each and every stage of our kitting process. I take
extreme pride in my presentation, and persist with
my simple taste........simply the best! In all
fairness to shopowners worldwide, I will commence
shipping the moment the last "crown is placed on
the queen's head", or the "avocado earns its
green"!
Without arrogance, may I say, I'm convinced
these will warrant the wait! Truly, I thank you for
your patience with me, and again, I wish to thank
each and every one of you for your great support
you have shown me over the last several years.
I thank you for visiting my website, and invite
you to use my toll-free #877-494-9434, if I can be
of further assistance. Typically, I am in my studio
from 8am until 8pm, and am ready for any of your
concerns. Now keep your customers' needles
threaded, and be creative!
Next topic of discussion: My intentions are to
reach you through this "Shopowners Newsletter"
quarterly, as I update the letter to stitchers on
my site.
I invite you to return often to update the
newest additions. My photographer and website
creator are diligently aiming to provide you with
images of my new releases. My six new designs
exhibited in Nashville last month are featured at
the top of the "New Designs" page.
My next set of new releases will be introduced
at TNNA~Indianapolis in June, to follow with
further new designs for Charlotte NMI in August.
My next topic will address my decision to
lighten my teaching load for a year, along with the
amount of trade shows and festivals I shall exhibit
in. For all good purposes, my goal is to
re-establish that communication and response to
your needs, in sincere attempts to fill your market
orders in a timely manner. For the past several
years, I have prided my staff with the fine
accomplishments of delivering two cash and carry
wholesale events to you annually. I will outline
details to sponsor my class perhaps in your shop in
2006-7, with your personal audience, and with
hopes, your favorite dessert!
Kindly,

Maureen Appleton, designer
